An idyllic country farm cottage in rural Oxfordshire near Blenheim Palace ...
The beautiful stone built Cotswold barn conversion is an ideal cottage in the country situated down a half mile drive, across rolling green fields filled with horses, sheep and cattle, on the outskirts of North Leigh village.
North Leigh is situated approximately 2 miles from Witney, Oxfordshire; the local market town.
The Old Bakehouse has been recently renovated to a high standard, and is consistantly awarded FOUR STAR rating by Quality in Tourism Assessment Report.
North Leigh Oxfordshire is only a stones throw from an historic Roman villa which is open to the public and free of charge if you are looking for a quiet stroll through the open fields that surround the village.
Features include: 2 ground floor en-suite bedrooms which makes the farm cottage fully accessible, traditional kitchen with original bread oven and copper. A large conservatory with doors opening onto court yard garden. Upstairs large sitting/television room, fully beamed.
Dogs are very welcome at the Old Bakehouse but please do not allow them on the beds and furniture or leave them in the farm cottage unattended. The courtyard garden is perfect for them and very safe. There is an outside tap for washing off.
One of the nicest walks is across our fields and down an old cobbled footpath to the Roman Villa or I can direct you to a public footpath which takes you into the Blenheim estate where you can walk for 4 miles in the woods and past the fabulous lakes and see the Palace (all on tarmac if it is wet)! We have fields that you can let the dogs off their leads for a runaround where there is no stock. Just ask for details. Click here for more walks
